Snowflake Appeal: Support for Sheffield Children’s Hospital

At Fletchers Waste Management, we care deeply about giving back to the local communities that we serve as much as possible. A charity close to our hearts that we have a long connection with is The Children's Hospital Charity. We’re proud to be continuing that support by participating in this year’s TCHC Snowflake Campaign.

As a business supporting the Snowflake campaign, we’ll proudly have a snowflake lit up on Sheffield Children’s Hospital during the festive period this year.

This year continues to prove a challenge for all of us due to the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. It’s never been more important to support those who need it and especially those who provide so much support to the local community and beyond. That’s why we are thrilled to be supporting the Sponsor a Snowflake campaign.

Sheffield Children’s Hospital provides a range of services for children and young people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, including emergency care for up to 200 children a day. They are one of the most inspirational organisations in our community.

The snowflake campaign is an annual event from the TCHC, which has run for 7 years and has raised over £1 million to help provide medical attention and care for those most vulnerable. This year the campaign will see amazing snowflakes lit up across these iconic local buildings:

• Sheffield Children’s Hospital
• University of Sheffield’s AMRC building
• Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre
• Barnsley’s Alhambra Shopping Centre
