Fletchers Raises Over £12,000 Ahead of Bangers and Cash Rally

As we prepare for our Bangers and Cash charity rally to Munich in support of the Roundabout Charity, we are proud to announce that we have recently surpassed our fundraising goal by raising over £10,000 as they prepare to depart on an adventurous 1,092-mile charity rally to Munich in support of Roundabout Youth Homeless Charity.

Roundabout is a dedicated youth homeless charity in South Yorkshire, providing shelter, assistance, and support to over 370 vulnerable young individuals facing homelessness.

Departing from Meadowhall on September 14th, the Fletchers team, composed of Jess Withington, Kacper Bieszke, and Tom Moran, will embark on a challenging journey through 8 countries in just five days.

Along the way, they will undertake various thrilling challenges, including completing the legendary Nürburgring racetrack, wild swimming in the Rhine River, driving to the Neuschwanstein Castle dressed as Disney princesses, and braving the Alpspix viewing platform at an altitude of 2050m on top of the Osterfelderkopf Mountain.

We initially set a fundraising goal of £5,000 but exceeded expectations by raising more than £12,000 for the local charity, Roundabout.

To mitigate the environmental impact of our 1,092-mile journey, Fletchers Waste Management collaborated with commercial sponsor, Advetec, to plant trees at Dace Woodlands in Harrogate. This initiative will successfully offset the five tonnes of CO2 emissions generated during the rally.

This rally is going to be an incredible adventure, and we're thrilled to have raised such a substantial amount for Roundabout. We love supporting this charity and the amazing work they do locally. It has been heartwarming to see our industry and community raise so much money for a vital cause we're passionate about.
